We've been hoping to see more Foxfibre® used in manufacturing since we learned about Sally Fox and her farm years ago. Bahzad has really made it a mission to work this fabric into all of his creative ventures, and we've finally got a new pair of Foxfibre® to drool over. This iteration comes in a weighty, yet comfortable 15oz selvedge. This wonder textile seems to soften up whatever it is imbued in, so while you get the structure of a 15oz denim, you don't get all the stiffness. Foxfibre® is organically grown to be varying shades from brown to green, eliminating the need for bleaching and dyeing of the fabric to achieve the same results. She is the only one who has been able to create naturally colored staple fibers long enough to turn into denim! The other beautiful part about these is that they will develop to an even warmer brown with time. Wear and washes will both fade the indigo to a lighter color and darken the weft. One of the more immediately noticeable details to us up front is that the selvedge is also laced with that Foxfibre® creating a red/brown ticker vs the traditional red/white. We fully expect this fabric collaboration to be one people talk about and search for on second-hand sites for years to come when they inevitably disappear before our very eyes.

Fit Notes: Tommy is wearing a size 32 waist in these. It is normal for him to wear one size down in the Easy Guy from the other two fits. These fit really well in the waist with all the taper from the tight to the leg opening you would expect from this fit. We always recommend you size up once from what you normally wear in other jeans, but pay close attention to those size charts. Tommy is 5'10", 165lbs with a 33-34" waist.
